The country’s main political parties, ODM and PNU, at one point seemed to differ as to who should be the Chair and Vice-chair of the Constitution Implementation Oversight Committee of the new constitution. After a series of meetings, they were able to meet over the weekend and agreed that Abdikadir Mohammed should be Chair and Millie Odhiambo his Vice.
Later the Vice held a press conference and announces that the implementation process would delay. But they have time to attend retreats as they discuss the way forward. Will this retreat be on of those that politicians just for allowance purpose? Do you trust the process of implementation of the new constitution? And as an individual, do you have a role to play in the implementation process?
How could one possibly trust the current crop of politicians in Kenya?

I agree with the prayer for our Leaders for 2 reasons: 1. God changes people. 2. we are commanded to pray for our leaders for our life to be good.
Am also reminded that “Faith without works is dead” – if we keep electing the same lot of leaders ; some with criminal record, aren’t we abdicating our responsibility and testing God?
