Do you trust the process of implementation of the new constitution? And do you have a role in the implementation process?

The country’s main political parties, ODM and PNU, at one point seemed to differ as to who should be the Chair and Vice-chair of the Constitution Implementation Oversight Committee of the new constitution. After a series of meetings, they were able to meet over the weekend and agreed that Abdikadir Mohammed should be Chair and Millie Odhiambo his Vice.

Later the Vice held a press conference and announces that the implementation process would delay. But they have time to attend retreats as they discuss the way forward. Will this retreat be on of those that politicians just for allowance purpose? Do you trust the process of implementation of the new constitution? And as an individual, do you have a role to play in the implementation process?

  1. How could one possibly trust the current crop of politicians in Kenya?

    • you are right sir, they can do alot of talking but nil in action, period..history proves that.

  2. Yes i trust the implementation but we need 2 pray 4 our govement so that any corrupt person may be removed frm govement.

    • I agree with the prayer for our Leaders for 2 reasons: 1. God changes people. 2. we are commanded to pray for our leaders for our life to be good.

Am also reminded that “Faith without works is dead” – if we keep electing the same lot of leaders ; some with criminal record, aren’t we abdicating our responsibility and testing God?

  3. just minimal that benefit the few before the next election.

  4. Strange this post is totaly unrelated to what I was searching google for, but it was listed on the first page. I guess your doing something right if Google likes you enough to put you on the first page of a non related search.

  5. I was more than happy to find this web-site.I wished to thanks in your time for this excellent read!! I definitely enjoying every little little bit of it and I have you bookmarked to take a look at new stuff you blog post.
